Privacy
Short version: I collect your email address so I can send you an email. That’s it.
What I collect
What I collect
- Your email address, when you give it to me, stored at Kit (opens in a new tab), the service that sends the newsletter.
- Aggregate page views, through Plausible (opens in a new tab). No cookies, no persistent identifiers, no cross-site anything, which is why you did not get a consent banner.
- Kit records link clicks and image loads by default. I do not act on them, I do not run “you didn’t open this” follow-ups, and I ignore open-rate figures entirely because Apple Mail Privacy Protection makes them meaningless.
What I never do
What I never do
- Sell, share, rent or trade your address.
- Move it to another list. My studio’s client enquiries and this newsletter are two separate worlds and nothing crosses between them, in either direction.
- Put anything on this site behind your email address.
- Email you about anything other than Cleared.

One click in the footer of any issue, effective immediately. Or write to hello at cleared dot page and I will delete you from the list and confirm it. Everything on this site stays readable either way.
